A Message From WTCBN Board Chairman Kenneth Franasiak
Erin Cole has taken the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara through a tough transition year, but has grown our membership, taken on new consulting projects, and expanded outside of Buffalo. These achievements did not go unnoticed. As a result, she has been recruited to become the new Senior Vice President of Global NY at Empire State Development. Ms. Cole will continue to live in Lockport, but will travel extensively around the state. Therefore, we are looking forward to working with her again in her new position, which starts on July 20, 2015.
We are sure Ms. Cole will continue to assist the organization where needed as we know she supports the mission and role WTCBN fills in our community.
A committee has been formed and has begun the search process for Ms. Cole’s replacement. Mike Bieger and Pat Whalen, co-chairs of the search committee, have asked for names of potential candidates to be forwarded to their attention by August 15, 2015. Your help is greatly appreciated as we believe that top talent can be found through the connections of our members.
